See and experience how the pioneers lived. This is a hands on museum featuring antique farming, mining, logging, railroad, and household equipment once used by area pioneers. Throw a switch or push a button depending on the display and see the equipment come to life. Perfect outing for small children. So many buttons and switches to keep little ones busy.
The Western Heritage Center was started by Jerry Senner, a retired dairy farmer. Let Jerry help you braid rope to take home with you as a souvenir and answer all your questions about pioneer life in the valley. It’s a fascinating place to visit. Lots of interesting stuff and a great host. Admission is free. They do accept donations and there is a makeshift gift shop.
