Morgantown Park

on

If you are an introvert like I am then you will especially love this park in Snohomish, Wa. Not a lot of people know about it and it certainly packs a lot of punch. We had the whole place to ourselves today and had a blast exploring it.

The majority of the park is gated and the little playground is fenced within the park making it extra safe for little ones and furry friends alike. There is a basketball court and a walking trail that takes you down a hill toward some picnic spots and horseshoe pits.

At the end of the paved little trail are some steps guiding you down to the Pilchuck River bar below. This is the best part! There are several little sandy beaches to play at or just watch the water swish and swirl downstream. We spotted some awesome old growth trees with gnarly knots bulging from their trunks. Morgantown Park has to be one of my favorite hidden gems of Snohomish.
